Stelion Lab studies what steers collective choices: spaces, procedures, incentives, rules, data. The site had to explain an abstract offer without reducing it to a manifesto. This one is mine too, and I keep it running.

WHERE IT JAMMED
“Research and experimentation to make systems more comprehensible.” A reader learns nothing about what happens, or what they could do. The risk was the manifesto: everyone agrees, nobody uses it. A lab that can't explain itself stays an intention.
THE DECISION
Instead of one striking sentence, I put in finite lists. 5 domains, 3 method steps, 3 research territories. A list can be checked. A striking sentence can't.
HOW IT'S BUILT
The site breaks the abstract into numbered, finite structures. 5 domains of enquiry, a method in 3 steps, 3 research territories, a responsibility protocol in 6 points. Every block can be counted, so it can be checked. And every page points to the others without asking for a leap of faith.
WHY IT HOLDS
The site is live and says what the Lab investigates, by what method, under which commitments. The diary is empty, because there are no results to publish yet. The page lets that show instead of filling it. (When the diary fills up, there will be nothing to walk back.)
