WHAT IT COSTS,WRITTEN DOWNBEFORE YOU ASK
A figure written down before the call saves us both an afternoon.
THE ANSWER
I publish the range for every offer, VAT excluded. A process automation runs €1,500–€10,000, a dashboard €2,000–€14,000. A website runs €3,000–€19,500, an internal app €5,000–€35,000. A product MVP runs from €9,000 to €70,000. Above €8,000 a definition sprint comes first, at €800–€2,000.

THE RANGES
SEVEN OFFERS, THREE LEVELS
The level says how big the job is, not how good. The same problem costs less on a single flow. It costs more once sources, roles and exceptions come in.
| THE RANGES | Essential | Standard | Advanced | Monthly support |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Process automation | €1,500–€2,500 | €2,500–€5,500 | €5,500–€10,000 | €250–€900 |
| Dashboards and reporting | €2,000–€3,000 | €3,000–€7,000 | €7,000–€14,000 | €300–€1,000 |
| Landing page | €1,200–€1,800 | €1,800–€3,500 | €3,500–€6,500 | €150–€400 |
| Multi-page website | €3,000–€4,500 | €4,500–€9,000 | €9,000–€19,500 | €250–€900 |
| Internal app | €5,000–€8,000 | €8,000–€18,000 | €18,000–€35,000 | €500–€2,000 |
| Product MVP | €9,000–€15,000 | €15,000–€35,000 | €35,000–€70,000 | €800–€5,000 |

VAT excluded. The bands meet: on a threshold the job decides the level, not the figure. These ranges are mine, not market averages. I revise them each quarter against real hours on finished projects.
THE LEVELS
WHAT SEPARATES THE LEVELS
Essential
One problem, one priority flow, few integrations. What goes in fits on one page.
Standard
Written spec, build, QA, documentation. And a proper handover.
Advanced
More sources, users, roles, exceptions. Security, migration, or a process that can’t stop. (Almost always preceded by a sprint.)
BEFORE THE QUOTE
THE DEFINITION SPRINT
- When it applies
- Apps and MVPs, projects above €8,000, sensitive data. Or a process nobody has written down yet.
- What I hand over
- Process map, essential spec, priorities. An investment estimate and a proposal for the build.
- Range
- €800–€2,000, VAT excluded.
- Deductible
- It can come off the next project, if we write that into the proposal.

THE VARIABLES
WHAT PUSHES THE PRICE UP
These are the 6 things that move a project up a level. (If you recognise them in your case, read the right-hand column.)
APIs to hold together
Authentication, rate limits, retries, monitoring. Connecting two tools is easy. Keeping them connected when one of them changes is the real work.
Sensitive data and roles
Permissions, audit trails, extra security requirements. They change how the system is built, not just how it’s protected.
Data migration
Bringing the history in isn’t a copy. You have to decide what’s still true, what gets dropped, and by which rule.
More users and integrations
Every extra branch multiplies the cases to test rather than adding to them.
AI inside the process
Data handling, checks, human review, a supplier to assess. AI goes in only with a use case and someone accountable.
Urgency
A deadline outside a normal QA cycle gets paid for. In risk or in money. (I’d rather say so up front.)
HOW IT ADDS UP
WHERE THE FIGURE COMES FROM
Before a proposal I work out four things. The real hours: analysis, build, QA, documentation. The third-party costs I can’t absorb. The integration risk and the state of the data. The margin I need to support the system after handover. A number comes out of that, inside the range you have just read.
OUTSIDE THE PRICE
WHAT ISN’T INCLUDED
Third-party costs
Hosting, domains, AI providers, APIs and licences stay in your name. (Unless the proposal says otherwise.)
Unlimited availability
Support covers monitoring, small updates and incidents. New features are quoted separately.
Campaigns and content
Advertising, ongoing editorial production, a full brand identity. None of the seven offers include them.
Guaranteed commercial results
I don’t promise leads, sales or guaranteed legal compliance. I promise a system that does what we wrote down.
A discount with the job unchanged is a debt, not a saving.
QUESTIONS
- Why publish the ranges?
- Because a written figure saves you a call. In 30 seconds you know whether we’re in the same order of magnitude. If we are, the call starts from the problem, not the budget.
- Can the quote fall outside the range?
- Yes, upwards, and only with a reason I give you first. A wider job than we agreed, an extra data source. (If the budget doesn’t reach, I cut the outcome, not the price.)
- Do the figures include VAT?
- No. Every range on this page excludes VAT.
- Is the sprint always required?
- It’s required for apps and MVPs, for sensitive data, for several integrations. And above €8,000 when the job isn’t written down yet. Below that, if the process is clear, we start straight away.
- Is monthly support compulsory?
- No. It covers monitoring, small updates and incidents. The right-hand column is indicative: it’s priced on the system I hand over. (It isn’t unlimited availability.)
- Why does AI consulting cost more?
- Because before anything gets built there’s the question of whether a model is needed. The diagnosis, a run on your own data, choosing the supplier, the spend caps. If the diagnosis says AI isn’t the answer, the work ends with the sprint.
Does one of these rows look like your case? Tell me what happens today. I’ll come back with the range and what fits inside it.
